Create Your Swag in a Few Simple Steps
Swag lighting uses ceiling hooks to shape cord, chain, or rope across your space. You choose the material, number of lights, placement, and drop lengths—we build it to your specifications.

Choose how many pendants your swag will have — from 2 to 19.

Start with cord, metal chain, thick chain, or rope to define the overall look
3. Choose Your Lights
Select globes, shades, or exposed bulbs, then choose your bulb color and finish.
4. Plan the Layout and Lengths
Place ceiling hooks wherever you want the cord to drape and each light to hang.

What is a swag chandelier and how does this one work?
This is a multi-pendant light that hangs from a canopy, then “swags” across your ceiling using included ceiling hooks. You can place each pendant exactly where you want, making it ideal for custom layouts and unique room designs.
Which finishes and globe sizes can I choose?
Choose from Brass, Antique Brass, Nickel, or Black hardware. Chain Samples available. Globes come in matte white or clear glass and are available in 8, 10, 12, 14, or 16-inch sizes.
Are ceiling hooks included?
Yes, they are included. Matching ceiling hooks are included so you can position your pendants wherever you like.
How do I measure the correct cord length?
Measure from your ceiling plate to the hook and add your pendant’s desired height. Then add 18"-30" for a natural or dramatic swag drape. Need help with your lengths? Just contact us
Can I save or share my custom design from the configurator?
Yes! After creating your fixture, you can download a PNG image or copy a custom link to save or share your design.
How many pendants can I build, and what canopy size will I receive?
You can build from 1 to 19 pendants. The canopy is sized accordingly:
- 1 to 5 pendants: 4.75-inch canopy
- 7 to 9 pendants: 8-inch canopy
- 10 to 19 pendants: 12-inch canopy
What type of bulbs does it use?
It uses standard E26 medium-base sockets and supports dimmable LED bulbs. LED options include 2700K (warm white) and 3500K (neutral white).
