What is a beam chandelier?
A beam chandelier features a faux wood beam with multiple pendants wrapped along its length. The design spreads light evenly and creates a dramatic focal point for dining rooms, kitchen islands, foyers, or commercial spaces.
What beam chandelier sizes are available?
Our standard beam size is 6” x 6”, with stock lengths of 4 ft and 6 ft. Custom lengths are available by request and typically require an 8–12 week lead time.
How much do the beam chandeliers weigh?
Our beam chandeliers are made from a lightweight foam core with a durable finish. This makes them much easier to lift and install compared to solid wood beams, perfect for both residential and commercial projects.
How are beam chandeliers mounted?
Beam chandeliers are mounted with eye bolts and chains that support the beam securely from the ceiling.
Is the beam hanging light adjustable?
The beam hanging height can be adjusted by lengthening or shortening the support chains. Individual pendants can be adjusted by wrapping excess cord around the beam. Includes 3 ft of chain. Contact us to add chain length.
Can I customize the finish or color?
Yes. Wood beam chandeliers are available in 3 standard finishes. Custom finishes are available by request.
Can I add shades to a beam chandelier?
Yes, just choose threaded sockets when ordering your beam chandelier to ensure shade compatibility. Shades are sold separately and can be selected from our Shade Options page.
Can I use a rope cord on a beam chandelier?
Yes! Rope is a great cord option for beams. Our online configurator doesn’t show it yet, but we can absolutely make it for you—just reach out to us directly to place your order.
What spaces work best with beam chandeliers?
Beam chandeliers are especially popular over kitchen islands, dining tables, and long conference tables, where they provide balanced light across the space. Larger beams also work beautifully in foyers, lofts, and event spaces with high ceilings.
